BLASTING MACHINES
Clemco’s portable
blasting machines range from standard designs in 0.5 ft3 all
the way up to the Big Clem at 160 ft3. Additionally,
Clemco supplies all the accessories and wear parts necessary
for using the blast pots which includes, the hose and
couplings, nozzles, and then all the personal protective
equipment necessary for keeping workers safe like
respirators, air-conditioned suits, eye and hearing
protection, and helmets.
Operating blast machines requires more than 50 PSI,
preferably 80 PSI of compressed air to function. The
air is blended with a safe blast media selected for the
application, which is ultimately controlled by a
remote-control handle safety system that shuts everything off
should the operator lose control.
BIG CLEM
For large scale production, Clemco Industries supplies
manual, automatic, and remote-control bulk blast
machines. To quickly load abrasive media, Clemco uses
an industrial grade pop-up valve. During operation, the
operator easily controls production rates with a convenient
abrasive cut-off switch. All this helps to drastically
reduce operational down time.
BLAST POTS
Portable pressure blast pots are used by companies to
control corrosion, prepare surfaces, and otherwise remove
contaminates. Clemco blast machines leave a
consistent surface texture, creating a surface that helps
coatings like paint to bond well to the surface area.
